I am new to VXlan, but we are going to have two CoLo Data Centers that they want L2 Extension at each. There will be a P2P circuit between the locations and we want to have a Firewall as well. We have Nexus at the core at the main Place and they are planning on putting Nexus at the Colo.
To get Layer 2 extension we were looking at Vxlan but I was un sure how the the design would look with the Firewall and P2P circuits? I did not think we needed routers but thought we could could directly it the Nexus and do a Vlan with the Firewall etc. But how would the Vxlan look? Do we need to do Vxlan BGP EVPN since we are adding the Firewall? Thanks for any help.
