Where should i start my Cisco DevNet practice, Having basic knowledge and hands-on experience in Networking, i feel i need to add an extra skill on DevNet.

You can start following a learning track for a technology you're familiar with. That way you won't have to learn two things at the same time(the technology itself, and automating it). Here are the available learning tracks: developer.cisco.com/learning
