CUCM instances with preconfigured Backup Device

Hello,

Thanks for the sanboxing opportunities, we appreciate it a lot!

Idea for improvement that will simplify regular use of sandboxes - in Collaboration sanboxes, provide CUCM instances* with preconfigured Backup Device.

This will let users, once they're happy with the CUCM config, to just back it up and restore upon next reservation. Otherwise, adding multiple devices with various parameter settings and custom COP-files (in our case) is a tedious task that easily leads to human error.

I imagine that each sandbox user could get an account and a space quota on the Backup Server, which would be independent of the current reservation.

Would love to see this happen!

Really appreciate this feedback and we are delighted you are making use of the DevNet Sandbox.

A backup facility for Collaboration and other sandboxes is a goal for us and we are looking into how this can be implemented. I can imagine reentering configuration into your servers can be tedious. We are committed to improving the Sandbox user experience and actively looking into a backup solution for configuration.
