Can we configure same subnet up address for all interfaces of Cisco Email security virtual appliance

Dear all,

Please help me to understand,is there any challenge to configure same subnet ip addresses for incoming ,outgoing and management interface of cisco email security appliance? Is it manadatory to give internet access for update of cisco esa  through Management interface only?

Configuration of multiple interfaces on the same subnet would be allowed.

For updates under Security Services -> Service Updates you have an option to select the interface to be used for updates.
