Dear all,
we would like to extend the feature keys of our cisco esa.
they will expire in december 2016, if we are going to extend it right now (october 2016) for one year they will be extended until december 2017 or october 2017?
thank you.

Hi,
The start date and end date of a license are based on the purchase order (PAK) obtained from the sales representative. When purchasing licenses you can provide details on the start date and end date as per your requirement.
Once a PAK is generated with specific dates it cannot be modified.
If you request for temporary licenses while a sales order is in progress or getting delayed due to any reason, the temporary license start date would be immediate. Hence temporary licenses are only issued when there are only a couple of days of active license left.
Hope this information helps.
Thanks

Hello,
Your license expiration date is dependent on your contract date. Your sales/account team and/or reseller should have more information on this topic.
If needed, you can also find contact info here : Contact Cisco
Thanks!
