How to Read archive Files in Ironport Async OS 8.5

Dear Team

We have a policy that archives any spam message or a message infected with virus or malware....

for example antispam archive file is asaarchive/

AntiMalware archive file is " amparchive/"

Antivirus archive file is "avarchive/" 

i can download these files, but i am unable to open them. for example below downloaded file cannot be opened.

antispam_archive.mbox.@20160414T120729 

This is a clear cut requirement from Auditing department.

Any inputs will be highly appreciated.

I would like to ask if you could edit your post and remove the hyperlink to your ESA's GUI access just for your own security reasons.

As per your question.

for mbox files, you can open them in notepad++ which gives you the raw mail source which can be extracted to be saved as an eml file.

Else you will need to download a third party software (mboxviewer, thunderbird).

Or convert the mbox to PST to open on outlook.
