.ppk files

Good Morning, I have been asked by our Security Team to block .ppk files from being received/sent by our users. Are .ppk files included in any of the existing "True-Type" groups (Media, Executable, etc)? If not, what is the mime-type of the file so that I can block this way instead of extension. Thanks!! Doug

.ppk files are typically crypto keys generated by puttygen for Putty sessions.

Its an octet-stream... so too generic to use for global blocking...

Can you use a Content filter to look for filename contains ".ppk" (no quotes)?

Thanks for the response.  I have the .ppk already on a Content Filter.  I was hoping the file type was in the True-Type file type searches.  Adding it to a content filter doesn't prevent someone from changing the extension to .txt and sending the file.

I'd log a TAC case for a feature request so that you can use the True-Type search and upload to AMP.
