I wonder what kinda RBL server you are running on your IronPort box and how's the order list?

sbl-xbl.spamhaus.org
list.dsbl.org
relays.ordb.org
dul.dnsbl.sorbs.net
etc...

What do you recommendation of each RBL server?

We don't use any RBLs here, and rely only on SenderBase instead. But we're a university, and have a major commitment to open communications. That means we err on the side of letting too much through.

We don't use RBLs either. We tried them before we used IronPort/Senderbase, and they were more hassle than they were worth.

That was a factor here as well. We're pretty thin on staffing, and keeping up with all the hand-holding needed to make RBLs work reliably just wasn't an option.

Besides, as I understand it SenderBase uses several of the major RBLs in its calculations anyway.
