I have an ironport that the last admin left without documentation that I cannot access. I have access to the GUI as he did leave data port 1 to the default IP address. No other user in the office knows of the password and the default password is not valid. Any help that you can provide would be great. Thanks in advance.
Will

HI Will,
We can help you with reseting the admin password however you will have to contact customer support to do so. This is mainly for security reasons. When you contact us you will need your CCO ID and your contract ID if you have it as well as the serial number for the appliance in question.
I can tell you will need console access for this procedure, ( Connecting via the serial port). The paramaters for that are 9600 baud 8N1.
I would recommend you contact Cisco IronPort Customer Support by either email or phone so we can assist you further.
