Hello,
I've got lots of errors of that type with SDR:
SDR: Message was not scanned for Sender Domain Reputation Reason: Unknown error
Checked the documentation at https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/security/esa/esa14-2/user_guide/b_ESA_Admin_Guide_14-2/b_ESA_Admin_Guide_12_1_chapter_01100.pdf
But the solution is not helping that much
Solution
When an unknown error occurs, the message is marked as unscannable, and the configured actions are applied
to the message.
What would be a possible cause for these errors?

Check in TALOS SDR status, If this known domain then you can also raise case with TALO
If you know the Domain you can add SDR exception list to safe list and test it.

Hi Balaji,
You mean that the Unknown Error is for Unknown Domain? I would beleive it is for a more technical reason (like timeout or engine error...)
