Hi,
I'm currently running an evaluation of vSMA to manage two C170 ESA's.
Initial configuration and setup was pretty straight forward and I enabled centralised message tracking successfully. However after I enabled centralised report management on the vSMA, I could no longer open the 'Management Appliance > Centralized Services >Security Appliances' tab. The browser (Firefox, IE and Chrome') times out when trying to open this tab. This tab was working until I enabled the reporting feature, and I have tried disabling the service and rebooting the VM, neither have fixed the problem.
This is the URL which is failing http://vSMA.local/services/security_appliances
I managed to configure the reporting feature via the CLI, but I can still not access the 'Security Appliances' tab. Has anyone seen this problem before?
Example of failure message in Chrome and Firefox attached.

Michael - seeing this one is in the wrong CSC board - did you find what you needed, or any other issues? Which version is running on the vSMA?
From the ESAs, do you have AMP enabled? There is an issue with opening the Security Appliances page on SMA when the SMA is not allowed to reach out to panacea.threatgrid.com:

So now the page is loading correctly. Not sure what changed other than some configuration of LDAP policies.
Would be interested to know if anyone else has seen this problem.

Hi Robert,
We are running 9.6.0-51. It looks like that is the same bug we are hitting. The page seems to be reachable occasionally, and then it won't be for the majority of the time. The vSMA doesn't have internet access and the ESA's do not have AMP enabled.
I'll implement one of the suggested workarounds and await the fix.
Cheers,
Mike.
