ASA 5506, 5508 Firepower License-Threat protection, AMP, URL Filtering!

Hello all,

please may somebody advice me regarding ASA licensing?

I have 2 ASA with base licenses and firepower module and I want to install licenses for Threat protection, URL Filter, Email Spam Protection, malware protection, botnet prevention. I have activated only 3DES encryption.

What should I do in order to activate these licenses? Is there any prerequisite?

Why do I need the PAK number (Control license) that came with inside the box with ASA?

You will have to license via classic method. 

ASA FirePOWER service does not support Smart licensing.
