Cisco IG20R Rugged Series IoT Gateways

I have been researching Cisco IG20R Rugged Series IoT Gateways and other similar models. I wanted to know if we can control the devices (example PLCs) connected to the IoT Gateway or we can only monitor the status of the device. I am looking to buy an IoT Gateway where I can both control and monitor the device connected to the gateway. The device would mostly be a Allen Bradley PLC.

Can you answer this or connect me with someone who can answer this?

Hello,

When you connect a PLC behind IoT Gateway, you will have regular IP connectivity to it. So you can both monitor and control the PLC.

Thank you for your reply. Is the Cisco IoT Operations Dashboard a browser based dashboard, or would we have install the software in PC? I want to see if I can directly access the dashboard using the internet.

Yes, IoT Operations Dashboard is a browser-based dashboard that is offered as a cloud service. You can access it as https://us.ciscoiot.com
