6.1. Questions about Cache Database switching to MSSQL

Hello,

I have questions about this item in the Installation Guide, page 162, item 6 :

6     Add the following properties to the .dsp file. The CachePassword is not needed if the default password was used in creating the user. Otherwise, the CachePassword is the encrypted form of the password

My questions are :

1. what kind of encryption has to be used ?

2. what can I do if I don't remember the password, is possible to reset it to a default value ?

Hey Frank, if possible, could you create a case with TAC (https://supportforums.cisco.com/message/4116412#4116412)  ? I looked in the guide myself and that information does seem to be  missing. We should be able to get you an answer, and file a  documentation bug against that step on the process.
