LoadUserProfile error

Reginald Hill

We want to be able to set the Tidal Agent to use Other instead of Local System and also set the Windows Runtime user on our jobs.   However, I'm getting this 'Error to LoadUserProfile' on Windows 2008 servers.... We did not see this issue while running our job on Windows 2003 or older.

Currently

All TES windows agents are 3.x.

Our Master is configured to 'Use Passwords to run Windows jobs' ...

The runtime user (domain account) on the job and running the agent service are the same

The account has all the required Local Security policies

The 'For Unix, source user profile' option is selected on the jobs

Not sure of the root cause of the issue. Any idea (feedback) on my issue is greatly appreciated.

I suspect this could be due to the enhanced security in Win 2008 in comparison to 2003

Can you try the following ?

1. Try logging on the Windows 2008 server as the runtime user

2. Uncheck the 'For Unix, source user's profile',  option

3. Create a sample job using the agent which run the command

cmd.exe /c set
