Hello,

There is a mgcp gateway which use E1 pri to pstn network. CUCM version is 8.5. When call comes from pstn there is not any problem . But when ı try to terminate a call from ip phone to pstn network (via mgcp gateway) , ı have faced the the problem like below on real time monitoring tool,

55 Incoming calls barred within Closed User Group (CUG)

is there anyone have faced same problem. Because we coudn't find any good  sollution about this problem.

router config:

interface Serial0/2/0:15

no ip address

encapsulation hdlc

isdn switch-type primary-qsig

isdn incoming-voice voice

isdn bind-l3 ccm-manager

no cdp enable

Hi,

The first thing I notice is that you are trying to use QSIG-PRIM as

your ISDN switchtype

I dont think this is correct for the PSTN, usually you need to

use an NET type switch-type.

Like in the UK we need to use

PRIM -NET5

This needs to be set correctly both on the router IOS and

in CUCM gateway webpage.

I will change configuration as you said. but i think there is not any problem on isdn communication. because isdn status ok and call comes from pstn to ip phones( everything is ok).  When ip phone try to call to pstn side we faced the problem.

After you have selected the correct ISDN switch-type for your country you

will need to confirm that you are sending the correct digits to the service provider.

A debug isdn q931

Will show what you are sending to line
