I have call manager 8.6.2a and 6921 running firmeware version 9.2.1 we use static ip addressing for this IP Phone models the problem the IP Phone suddenly became unregister and we found it try to take IP address from DHCP which means it lose it network configuration anyone faced this issue.
Have you tried running latest firmware 9.3.1 on this?
Best would be to monitor the voice vlan with a SPAN session and a packet capture so we can analyze the message exchange when the phone starts asking for DHCP without apparent reason.
