7841 Extension Mobility "Host Not Found"

Hi All,

I am having issue with my Extension Mobility on 7841 phone.

Whenever I press the EM Service button, I am getting "Host Not Found".

CUCM 11.5 SU4

> EM Service is working in CIPC.

> I am not using hostname/FQDN on my service.

> Re-created EM Service, still not working.

> Phone has the latest firmware.  cmterm-78xx.12-1-1SR1-4.zip - tried to downgrade but still no good.

> Restarted TFTP service - still no good.

> Restarted Call Manager service - still no good.

> Phone VLAN is able to access the DNS VLAN, no issue.

Any thoughts what should I check? Thank you.

You can put a workstation on that vlan and try to ping that address. It sounds pointless but assuming anything during the troubleshooting process can waste hours of your time. Another step is going to the phones web interface and looking through the log files.
