We recently purchased some 7911 phones to place in our common area's. The phone that I am testing with has a Msgs softkey that I would assume goes to voice mail. seeing as these phones will be in common area's they will not be associated with voice mail so I would like to remove the softkey. It seems that no matter what I do I can not remove the key.
I have tried creating a new softkey layout with out the Msgs softkey, and upgrading firmware.
Is there a way to remove this from the phone?
