Hello

I have some ip desk phone 7940 ( i know it out of support or end of live) for my customer my problem is to convert in sip protocol to connect with 3cx phone system i try all  the tftps serveres and firmware but it not work  if i try wrong please tell me somthing to try

If there were issues upgrading to SIP then what are the error messages observed.

My  Ip  pbx  is a  sip server ( 3cx phone system) my customer it have 10 phone desk phone cisco 7940 to connect in my pbx to by convert with a sip protocol   I try to convert with a tftp server pumpkin and the firmware to put in is P003-8-12-00

What SIP firmware are the phones suppose to go to, 8.12(0)?

That's not the only file that needs to be changed in order to upgrade the firmware of phones.

Where is the SIPdefault.cnf, XMLDefault.cnf.xml ... ???
