7941 +7962 Won't Boot - Bricked?

I am just getting into learning cisco and i bought two phones and upon trying to reset them to factory defaults I seemingly broke them, but I still think they are recoverable. the first command 123456789*0# put the in an upgrade loop and the second 3491672850.# has them both with a blank screen.

I am trying to tftp the files over and the 7962 shows up on the dchp server tab of tftpd64

and here is what the log shows

The phone is plugged into a 3560g 10/100 POe switch and the firewall/router is pfsense.

Note: I do not have CCUM, looking to get it somehow, but alas no support contract with cisco.

I feel I am close and I have tried older firmware SIP and SCCP.. I have the firmware files from ciscos support page and an xml to point in the right direction ((i think) any help would be much appreciated.

I figured it out, it was a matter of having the right version, not to old not too new, which for both phones was SCCP41.9-3-1SR1-1S
