7941GE with ccme

Hi all,

i'm not able to load the network-locale IT and user-local IT on ip phone 7941G-GE.

Actually, the ephone has type parameter set to 7941GE, and cnf file are already create (create cnf-file command).

All fine with 7940, 7912.... ecc. ecc.

Any idea?

Hi,

the 7941 needs the mk locatization file and the tones xml file. Download the files from CCO, CCME section, and put them on the router. Then configure tftp-server as needed, eg:

tftp-server flash:/phoneloads/it-td-sccp.jar alias Italian_Italy/td-sccp.jar

tftp-server flash:/phoneloads/it-tc-sccp.jar alias Italian_Italy/tc-sccp.jar

tftp-server flash:/phoneloads/it-mk-sccp.jar alias Italian_Italy/mk-sccp.jar <-- just this for 7941

tftp-server flash:/phoneloads/g3-tones.xml alias Italy/g3-tones.xml

another question:

The IPPhone 7941 is not syncronize with CCME hours (two hours of delay) and the CPTONE is US again.

However, dictionary is in italian language .

Any Idea?

Hi,

do you have time-zone 23 under telephony service ?

For tone, check the g3-tones.xml file above. Note, the localized dialtone is played when dialing from off-hook, after pressing the digit configured in "secondary-dialtone". The primary is always continuous, to distinguish with secondary.

Ok, what FW are you running on the phone? Please upgrade to latest 8.2(2)SR1 and try again.

Actually, no advanced feature are running on the phone.

Customer can browse the local directory only!

The software that is running is 8.0.4

Ok, checklist for correct time on CCME:

* reccomended, set ntp to a vaid server:

net server 4.2.2.1 (yes that addrees is valid!)

* your timezone and DST for router purposes

clock timezone CET 1

clock summer-time CST recurring last Sun Mar 2:00 last Sun Oct 3:00

* timezone for CCME

telephony-service

time-zone 23

Now, I thought that 8.0.4 should give no problem in that area, but you fuond it does.

Can you upgrade to 8.2(2)SR1 and try again

My phones are working correctly with that release.
