Hello
We have a 7960 phone with one extension module which was working fine until we had an outage. Since then it will not connect.
It does not use a power source

So the phone is powered using PoE?
If PoE, then you could potentially have a cable issue or the port has gone into "error-disable" or disabled the port or PoE (someone forgot to save the config).

Yes it is PoE. W did have a switch failure which is what caused the outage but all the other phones with the extension modules are working just fine. i have checked all the connections and done a reset and restart with out any luck

Possible faulty cable hasn't been rule out.
What's the exact model of the switch?
