8831 upgrade

Can some one help me to upgrade an 8831 directly? I am struggling to browse to the device. We are trying to use it on a non cisco system as a SIP conference phone.

Hi,

You can upgrade through 3^rd party TFTP server check the link below which talks about the same.

Once you have setup 3^rd party TFTP setup with the desired firmware, go the you DHCP server and change the option 150 to reflect the IP address of the 3^rd part TFTP server ot change it manuall on the phone.
