8831 Wired Mic Question

Hi All,

Does anyone here have the wired mic kit for the 8831 conference phone?  It's CP-MIC-WIRED-S.  What is the cable length on the Microphones?  I'm having a hard time finding anything that mentions it.

The cable length on each "wired mic" is 7 feet;

These microphones extend the operational range of the Cisco Unified IP Conference Phone 8831 with even coverage around the periphery of the device with 7 feet of additional reach.

Anybody know the best/easiest way to extend these cables? 7 feet is practically nothing, especially if you want to do any sort of cable management.

I recently had the same issue - looking for the cable extension for  the CP 8831 wired mic, I couldn't find the cable extension kit to extend the 7 feet that comes with the kit.

then it occurs to me i was looking at the problem but not at the solution.   We should  use the wireless mic  kit instead.  : )
