Hi,
I have an 8865 that doesn't recognize that the shutter is open. Has someone an idea how the phone checks if the shutter is closed or open?

I usually use something like this DKHelpingHand - Dritte Hand – Wikipedia
After the switch has been removed there are only 2 pins visible. I live in Germany so I'm not able help you further. If you find no one that "repairs" it, maybe its easier to find another one on ebay. Or you try it yourself. Remove the metal switch and apply some silver conductive paint. That should also work and you don't need to solder.

This has been resolved. It was the software not the hardware. Thanks!

Maybe, but I guess it won't last long. Use something with much Silver in it Silberleitlack, Leitsilber, Leitlack, Silberlack (2 ml) - Reparaturset – Elektrisch leitender Lack: Amazon.de: Baumarkt
Maybe a wire that is fixed with hot glue will also work.
