I connected an 8865 phone with key module attached. On screen message stated "accessory Key module added", then on screen message stated "Cannot power accessory". The key module did not come on line. I have connected a power supply to the phone and now the key module is up. Does this mean that the power supply is required to use the key module with the 8865 phone or is it possible that there is not enough power coming through POE to power the key module. FYI - We have 8851 phones in our environment using single key module and no power supply is needed.
