If I have configured both AAR Destination mask and External phone no. Mask for AAR, which one will be the priority for CUCM to compose an alternate no. to reroute the call to PSTN

you can come off the wall, It does add the prefix to everything, regardless of the wildcards.
If you add the mask in without wildcards it will act just like a standard CF, but .. the prefix is *always* added.

Tobin,
If AAR destination mask rules the external mask, will the CUCM add AAR dial prefix with AAR destination mask while composing alternate no.to reroute thru' PSTN.

Yes, the AAR group prefix should always be added to either, as its specific to AAR group relationships.

I have got the below passage from cisco document,
AAR Destination Mask: If this is set, it is the number where calls are rerouted if this
directory number cannot be reached because locations-based CAC is composed of this
mask and this directory number instead of this directory number, the external phone
number mask, and an AAR group prefix. Because this setting is configured per directory
number, it allows any destination to be specified. If the mask does not contain n
wildcard digits, calls are rerouted to the specified number without considering any
digits of the directory number. Therefore, this setting is often called CFNB.
Now tell me, will AAR prefix be included if I have got AAR destination mask configured without wild cards???

Tobin,
Now I have been well seated because of your meaningful answer. I would have rated you as 10 but unfortunately I didn't have that option. Anyhow I have got a clear picture of AAR. Thanks for your valuable time.
