I realize that the CME 8.6 supports account code entry through the use of Acct soft key. User simply selects the Acct soft key once a call is established, enters the account code followed by the #. However; is there any way to force account code entry (similar to Client Matter Codes) in a dialing plan on a CME 8.6?

You can configure FAC in CME 8.5+, the CME admin guide covers this.

Thanks for the feedback Jaime. I was only considering the FAC from a call restriction purpose not a combination of call restriction in conjunction with call accounting. I’ll do some more reading and give it a try.
