Active Load ID "Unknown"

Hello ,

Recently i have started seen that whenever we add new phones Active Load ID is showing unknown. We are running CUCM 7 version earlier active load id use to show "sccp45.8-5-4s" but now its started unknown more often.

Can anyone please let me know the reason , does active load id showing unknown effects outside calling.

i dont think it will be a problem but it might lead to unexpected errors

you can try to reset the phone to factory default to force it reload the firmware from CUCM

It depends on what SCCP version the phones are using whether or not they'll send the register alarm message to call manager indicating what firmware load they're running which is populated in that field.  If you have downgraded the firmware lately you'll likely see unknown, or if you compare a phone that shows the active load ID and one that shows unknown, they may be running different firmware versions one of which reports the load ID to call manager and one that does not.
