Folks,
How can I program the callmanager so that it automatically adds a 9 or a 91 to incoming calls so that users can go to diretories option and hit dial without using the edit button?
Thanks

Hi,
I know a way to do this but I am not sure if it is recommended. You can configure a translation pattern that modifies calling numbers by prepending a 9.
The calling search space assigned to your gateways must have only one partition in it: the partition associated to the translation pattern that modifies the calling number.
You then assign a calling search space that includes the partitions of all your IP telephony devices to the translation pattern.
The path of the call will then be:
incoming call -> gateway -> translation pattern (prepend 9 to the calling number) -> IP phone
With this solution all incoming calls coming from the gateways, will first be routed to the translation pattern and then to the rest of the directory numbers configured on the Call Manager.
