I have an analog Polycom phone that can't make conference calls. It is attached to Callmanager via a MGCP gateway on an fxs port. Is it possible to have an analog make more than 1 call if the phone supports it. This phone used to work with the original PBX.
Thanks

Support for conferencing on analog FXS is limited to gateways configured for SCCP - see the following for more info, but hookflash can only intiate transfer when the gateway is configured for MGCP:

When a gateway is configured for SCCP, you can initate conferences and other supplimentary services:

Note that this SCCP config is currently limited to VG224s running 12.4T

Would an ATA 186 work in this situation?

Yes, ATA running SCCP image will work.
