Hello,
Wondering if anyone else has see a switchport stop forwarding when an ATA is connected and the swtichport voice vlan is set?
I am experiencing this with ATA 187's on all of my switches.
Thanks,
Dan.

You may have some particular switch configuration causing that.

All of the ata186's work fine, I guess the 187 doesn't like the voice vlan configured.....

What firmware is the ata187 running? Also check out this defect: CSCub39248

That is very close to my problem, except when I enter the commmand "switchport voice vlan xxx" then spanning tree stops working. I don't have a static vlan set on the at as I set it back to factory defaults, unless it always has a static vlan set anyways?
Thanks
Dan.
