Auto-Off-Hook on Attendant transfer with SPA Ip Phone 5xx Ver 7.5.x

Hello, i would to know if it's possible to do an attendant transfer with auto-off-hook (w/out to re-press the Transfer button).

At the moment we can make a non-blind transfer in "only" 6 steps like the follows:

1 - Answer a call

2 - press the transfer button

3 - insert destination of call

4 - announce the call

5 - re-press the transfer

6 - Off-hook

What we are looking for is to reduce these steps to 3 or max 5, like these:

1 - Answer a call

2 - Press a BLF button (if present)*

3 - Off-hook

*if not present these steps become:

1 - Answer

2 - Press Transfer button

3 - Insert destination of call

4 - Announce the call

5 - Off-hook

I wonder because many vendor's sip phone works like the above description, only with Cisco SPA ip Phone i found this kind of issue.

With old CME and Cisco 79xx there was an option in the server side configuration to enable; it was called like: "Off-hook auto-transfer"; but with SIP Phone i think should be the Phone to do it.

I hope in future firmware release...... even if i'm hoping from years....

Thanks.

Same issue:
How many buttons have i to press to transfer a call?!
(Is not a joke).

In our old phone system we used to make attendant transfer starting with a "key" like "R" or "Transfer" or "Flash" followed by the extension and that was all.

With Cisco SPA 50xG we lose a lot of time to do what before we used to do simpler and faster (with a pbx system of 20 years ago).

UP!!
