You do not need CUE (unity Express) to provide Auto attendant with CME, you can use AA TCL script https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucme/bacd/configuration/guide/cme40tcl/40bacd.html

If you already have CUE (again it's not just software but hardware) then you can use it for Auto attendant as well. Latest CUE version 10.X would take CUE10-IVR licenses for each IVR license (concurrent call to AA).

CUE is Unity Express and require a hardware (hard drive) along for ISR4K and it cannot operate without either connection to CUCM or CME?  Do you have either?

CME itself can provide Auto Attendant via a TCL script.

What phone system are you planning on using (CUCM or CME or something else)?

i have small branch and i am planing to use ISR4000 with CME on it
i just wondering that for Auto Attendant which license do i need to buy CUE-VM or CUE-IVR?
and what else do i need?
