Basic CME 4.3 Config Problem...

Hi Folks,

I'm trying to get a single 7970G phone to register against a 2611XM running CME 4.3 as part of studying for my CCNA Voice.  I've done lots of reading around and come up with the config attached, but the phone I've got just sits at the Upgrading screen when its plugged in.  I think I'm missing something fairly important on my config.  I'm not even sure if its getting an IP address from the DHCP server...

At the moment, the hardware is configured 2611XM-fa0/0->PSU Brick->Phone.

Please can someone take a look and point me in the right direction?

Take a look on this line of the your DHCP Config:

ip dhcp excluded-address 192.168.2.1 192.168.2.254

No IP address will br provided for your Devices.

2 options here:

set up in your IP Phone a Ip address

Change the range of the IP excluded in your config.

Try:

no ip dhcp excluded-address 192.168.2.1 192.168.2.254

ip dhcp excluded-address 192.168.2.10 192.168.2.254
