BE6000M4 UCS - Boot failure

Hi ,

New UCS 220 M4 (Business Edition Server) unable to detect RAID controller and end up with boot failure.

Error Message

"Adapter at Baseport is not responding

No Megaraid Adapter Installed"

But When Check the RAID Adapter , Virtual disk , Physical disk status in CIMC all are fine. We couldn't see the RAID adapter in boot selection order also.

Sounds like hardware failure. I would suggest opening a TAC case for replacement.

Hi  Brandon,

Problem with RAID Adapter. It's not seated properly in the board. Issue got fixed by re-seating the board properly.
