BE6K 10.5(1) Prime & IM&P Error: Software

Hi,

I'm trying to deploy a BE6k with Prime Collaboration 10.5.1, CUCM, Unity and IM and Presence. Documentation for initial configuring IM&P cannot be found, but this link has helped: https://supportforums.cisco.com/discussion/12347981/be6000-im-and-presence-installationconfig

Cisco Prime keeps on complaining the Unified CM IM and Presence server will not sync. Error: Software

Did you end up resolving this? I am having the same issue.

Hi, When I installed all the OVA's, I set up both IPv4 and IPv6 and their related DNS entries on our DNS server. Once I completely removed the IPv6 entries on cucm, im&p and related AAAA dns records from the dns server, after a complete reboot it finally synced in Prime. Also check all your DNS entries to make sure they're correct. After it was able to sync and complete the install, I set up IPv6 and it is still working. Alex
