Dears,
there was a failure in the power and esxi was corrupted, i have re install the esxi and got the VM's, when i start the CUCM the file system was corrupted i recovered the file system and CUCM was booted successfully, when CUCM was booted successfully i was not able to login in the CLI as well as in GUI ,, then i reset the password of cli and i logged in , when i was trying to login in GUI it was giving me database communication error.
when i see the service list i see the CM service is STOPPED ( component is not running) also A Cisco DB is not starting.
As in the switches if we want to see the logs we see by the command show logging , how we can see the logs for CUCM why the service is not starting.
thanks

Hi Clark,
First step would be to try run recovery CD if you have not already.
http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/unified-communications/unified-communications-manager-callmanager/118948-technote-cucm-00.html
You can use RTMT to collect traces as explained below.
https://supportforums.cisco.com/document/126666/collecting-cucm-traces-cucm-862-tac-sr
If you are unable to login to CUCM via RTMT then you can use CLI to collect logs, below are traces location
https://supportforums.cisco.com/document/65651/communications-manager-rtmt-trace-locations-cli
For you scenario try restating "A Cisco DB" service and collect Service manager logs to find out that it trying to do.
Having been said above i would like to inform you that you would have to rebuild the server at somepint even if you are able to recover those services. see below BUGs

Hi Clark,
There are more chances that restore would not work if you have taken a cluster backup from the server.

If you have existing SUB up and running, you can use the below procedure.

Dear,
i have seen this link before but i stopped proceeding becz it was failing the authentication,in show network cluster.
As if now my server is below 10.5.2 i cannot run "utils disaster_recovery prepare restore pub_from_sub" command so i added the subscriber server and the IM server from the server tab of the publisher and change the hostname to IP address on the publisher and reloaded, after reloading when i execute show network cluster in subscriber it show me publisher unauthenticated.
just to remind one thing that i have executed utils dbreplication stop command as instructed in first step so how the database will be pulled from subscriber to publisher for version 10.5.1 when db replication is been stopped on subscriber and also in version 10.5.1 we don't have a command " utils disaster_recovery prepare restore pub_from_sub" to initiate a connection from publisher to subscriber.
thanks
