Call transfer on hunt group member extension

Hi All,

Got into an issue where a member extension on a hunt group is not being able to get call transfered to external party via PSTN when hunt pilot calling the member extension. More specifically, eg, inbound call hits the hunt pilot which in turn calls the first hunt group extension member eg 1234. it is because of the CFA set on the line/1234 to forwarding all to external number such as mobile phone number. No inbound call gets forwarded to the destined mobile receiver as expected. On the other hand, when inbound call hits directly to ext 1234, call gets forwarded to the external mobile. Now, i wonder if this is the feature limitation on the call hunting of CUCM.

Please advise.

Thanks in advanced.

AFAIK, Call forward of DN will be checked only when call is placed directly to line. In your case, you are placing a call to hunt pilot hence call forward setttings of line is skipped. You should use the call forward settings available on hunt pilot.

That's WAD, if the call is extended via a hunt pilot any call forward behaviors on the DN are ignored, this has been asked PLENTY of times before at CSC.

In order to do what you want, you need to configure SNR on 1234 so the call is also extended to the external party, OR, as Vivek says, use the call forward in the hunt pilot

Hi Jaime

Forgot to mention that i had tried the SNR on that extension number. It works only when direct call going to the extension 1234. the CUCM we are running is 10.5.2

You must have something wrong, or hitting a bug, plenty of people use that scenario and it works fine, I've tried that in my lab and had no issues.
