Calling pty transformation CUCME

Hi guys.

I have issues with the CALLING pty presentation/transformation. Unidirectional only CUCME towards CUCM.

The calls are connecting/disconeecting just fine.

I have integrated [CUCM] ---H323--- [CUCME]

Intrasite codes:

CUCM       811

CUCME     822

Extension range:

CUCM      1XXX

CUCME    6....

CUCM is connecting to CUCME via Route Pattern 6XXX.

Calling pty transformation is done using PREFIX 811

The Calling Pty number is correctly presented at CUCME as 8111XXX

CUCME is connecting to CUCM via dial-peer with destination pattern 8111....

The translation profile in place is as folows:

    voice translation-rule 1

        rule 1 /^8111/ /1/

    voice translation-rule 2

        rule 1 /^6/ /8226/

    voice translation-profile strip8111

        translate called 1

        translate calling 2

The Calling Pty number is presented as the (SIP and SCCP):

- The internal extension number 6....

- And the transformed number 8226...

I only need the transformed number 8226... to be presented and not both.

How can prevent the internal station number 6... be transmited to CUCM?

RESOLVED

The issue was with "Calling Name" beeing the extensions number, so when you call, besides the Caller ID which is the transformed Callyng Number 8226... , the Calling Name which is the Extension Number 6... was also outputed.

Prevented this from happening by using

clid strip name

on the outgoing dial-peer.

Hopefully this will help someone else in future.
