Callmanager cluster and subscriber across GRE tunnel

Hello i have a client that needs to run a callmanager subscriber across a GRE tunnel for a period of 6 months, the subscriber will only be used for DR if the main cluster dies, i was wondering if anybody has configured thsi setup and any issues found with ICCS trafic across the gre, MTU sizes etc ?

There are a bunch of posts here regarding "split-cluster" designs. Actually the SRND guide goes over this. You can split the cluster but you have to meet certain criteria for it work correctly, or you will have database corruption.

- bandwidth for voice (TSPs, CTIs, go through CUCM)

- Bandwidth for data, latency, round trip times.

How it goes through, VPN, MPLS, Frame, PTP, whatever it may does not matter. Voice quality, roundtrip time, latency and mileage matters.
