Can SPA508G SIP phones be provisioned on CME server?

We have a number of SPA508G phones, that we had to purchase when our company was small enough that 'cloud' VoIP was a feasible option to keep cost down.    However, we have now crossed the headcount threshold where I need to bring the VoIP server in house.

I would hate to learn that I have to replace ALL these completely functional SPA508G phones, if I were to opt to go with a 2851 ISR running CME 9.x.

Does the most current release of CME support SIP phones, as well as SCCP phones (i.e. IP7942, IP7962, etc.)?

None of the SMB phones are officially supported under CME or CUCM, those are considered SIP 3rd party endpoints.
