Looking up documentation on Cisco and google, it says that the default background image is stored in firmware. However I would like to change it so that our company logo in on the background and hopefully store it in the phone in case of theft.
Is there a setting or method to change the default image or background, otherwise change the background in bulk?

This is a popular topic on this forum. I researched this one myself a while back. I put together my notes and eventual solution in a blog article:
http://www.netcraftsmen.net/resources/blogs/pushbackgroundtoipphone.html
In the article I describe what didn't pan out and provide an example script that one could use to push an image to a phone. I also touch on a 3rd party product that I have seen others reference. Though I haven't tested. You should find most of what you need in the above blog. You could also search the netpro forum for other experiences.
HTH.

Bill

That is quite an extensive write up with great findings. I am going to have to pilot this on a lab envrionment so that I don't have the risk of corrupting the pro
duction environment. This way this will force the background to all phones and not require user intervention which is the key in administrator roles.
Thank you for the research and write up! I will post results.
