Re: Cannot Transfer call to External number CME 7.0

Can someone please help me in resolving this issue for a customer using CME 7.0. They can transfer calls to internal number fine but when they try to transfer an external call to an external number the call just dropes as soon as they hit transfer key. They can make that external call to have consultive transfer while the original call is on hold but then when they try to join these two calls i.e. Original calling party to transferred party - the call just drops. I cannot see any apparent errors on isdn q931. I have attached CCAPI for analysis.

The codecs are fine, I have included supplementary-service command as well under voice service voip but no joy. I have also added dsp services dspfarm and local-bypass command for hairpinning but that didn't help. Customer is saying it use to work before - but it's been 3 months it didn't work and they did not make any chaanges. The router, however, reloaded itself some 3 months before due to a power cut. I am not sure if some config has gone missing since then or some internal fault has developed. Please let me know if there is anything configuration wise needed to make it work. I am adding some running config for your reference.

Thanks Rad. I have gone through that link which says:

"When a call is forwarded, the calling number remains the same and the Telco does not allow the call to complete because it expects a different calling number. That is the number from which the call is redirected. In order to resolve this problem, configure the translation rule to force ANI for outgoing calls, which should be the Telco expected value."

Ih this case, all outgoing calls meet a translation rule which changes their ANI to 659005.

Hi Rad,

I have collected the traces for you. A call was made from17XX747XXX to 659005 and then 659005 made an external call to a mobile phone. Call was established between 659005 and mobile phone while the first call was on hold. As soon as she hits transfer, the call drops.
