CCM 5.1 and SIP third party phones

I am trying to setup some Snom 300 and 320 phones on Callmanager 5.1 and I am having trouple trying to setup shared lines on the phones so that a incomming call can be answered on another phone . I have tried both setting up the extension I want monitored as a "Directory Number" ona available line on the phone and it does nothing but when it is setup up this way the phone registration in Call Manager reads "Partial Registered". I have also gone into the phone itsely and tried setting up the line I want monitored and it does not work there as well.

I contacted Snom and this is the message they sent me:

"Snom phones support extension monitoring either through Individual Subscriptions or Eventlist Subscritions.

I am not able to find any relevent information wether these methods are supported by CCM.

Looking at the Presences section it is not clear if this feature is only being supported by Cisco devices or not.

I suggest you contact Cisco Support Fourm."

So my question - Is the feature to have multiple line appearances possible with Snom phones on CCM 5.1? and if so what do you have to configure in CCM to get it to work. or is this feature only available for Cisco phones?

THANKS

Mike

Don't know if this feature is available.

By googling, I've found the following link;

http://wiki.snom.com/Interoperability/PBX/CiscoCallManager

Thanks for the response.

I used that page for the intial setup for the phones and even following that I had issues with getting them to stay registered to Callmanager. and we have several of the phones up and running at the moment. Then I need to setup a few of the phones to have shared lines that the users can answer for other users that may be out or away from thier desk. Thats were I ran into the problem and I have as of yet been unable to determine if these features are available for these Snom phones on the version of Callmanager that we are using so I can tell "The Powers that be" that what they want to do will or will not work.
