CCM 6.1.1 Authorization Codes

Authorization Code for LD calls.

I there a way to program a phone so the user has to enter a authorization code to call and long distance or local number? I know you can use Client Matter Codes and Forced Authorization Codes but that is for tracking billing and applies to just certain numbers a user calls. I want to program the phone so no matter where they call a code is needed to complete the call.

Sure you can. You will have to create specific route patterns requiring FAC and place them in a Parition(s) reachable from the phone's CSS. The phone's CSS should not have access to any other outbound Route pattern's parition.
