CCME - Can't get spanToPCPort to work

Hi guys,

I have tried to re-create the cnf-files. I have also deleted the old config file for my 7962 phone before re-creating the cnf file. I have reset the phone. However it still does not work. On the phone itself at Device Configuration -> Ethernet configuration, I still see "Span to PC Port" says no. Any idea where I did wrong?

max-dn 150
ip source-address 192.168.2.254 port 2000
service phone spanToPCPort 0
cnf-file location flash:
max-conferences 4 gain -6
transfer-system full-consult
create cnf-files version-stamp 7960 Mar 21 2016 22:18:39

I am running a Cisco 2801 router with IOS 15.1(4)M8 and CME version 8.6.

Hello Difan 

Try below:-

CME(config)#telephony-service

CME(config-telephony)#service phone pcPort 0

CME(config-telephony)#service phone spanToPCPort 0

CME(config-telephony)#no create cnf

...CNF files deleted

CME(config-telephony)#create cnf

CME(config-telephony)#reset all !!!!! or your testing phone only!!!!
