I have been fighting problems with CDR Analysis and Reporting for several weeks. Initially, my publisher crashed and I had to re-install / restore everything. Once I had the machine back up, CAR wasn't working.
I was running CCM 4.1(3)sr8a. This past weekend I updated to 4.2(3) hoping that might fix my problems, but it didn't.
I have read (almost) every document that exists on these problems. I have verified this on my publisher & subscriber both:
- Service --> Service Parameters
- CDR Enabled Flag = True
- CDR Log Calls with Zero Duration Flag = True
- Call Diagnostics Enabled = True
My Publisher only has:
- Start --> Programs --> Administrative Tools --> Services
- Cisco CDR Insert = Started
I also tried un-installing CDR Analysis and Reporting and re-installing it. I am at the point right now where it appears to be inserting the cdr/cmr flat files into the database, but nothing shows up when I run reports.
I have enabled detailed trace logging for by going here:
- Cisco CCM Manager Administration page
- Cisco Unified CallManager Serviceability --> Trace Configuration --> Publisher --> Cisco CDR Insert
- Debug trace level = Detailed

I cannot find anything on the internet about the "Duplicate record found, do not alarm" error.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
