Changing URL Authentication Parameter on phone won't work

I am configuring a new authentication URL for the phones on my network on CUCM8.  Updating the setting on the Enterprise Parameters Configuration Page works fine, but when I press "Apply Config", the phone resets and nothing else happens (the new address is not added.  Curiously, the only phone I am able to update this parameter on is my CIPC phone.  This is a new version of CUCM, so some things may have changed.  Does anyone know why the phones won't accept the new setting?

You'll probably need to restart the CCM service for it to work.

I'm looking for any other ideas on this.  I've updated the Enterprise parameter for Authentication URL (both secure and non-secure), but the phones themselves have not updated.  I've tried restarting the TFTP, Call Mgr services, and phones.  I have also rebooted the CM.  I'm on ver 8.0.2.

Check on one of the phone's that is not updating, under the Settings button > Status Messages, it likely says ITL (Initial Trust List) update failed or something like that.  To fix it delete the ITL file from the phone under settings > security conifguration, unlock with **#, then erase.  With CUCM 8.x the configuration files are signed and need to be authenticated by the ITL or the phone will reject it, causing updates to not be applied to the phone.

joemar2...that was it!  Being this isn't my post, I don't see a way to grant you points on this one but I'd give 5 stars if I could.  I scratched my head on this for about 25 mins.  Thanks a bunch!

You're welcome.  I think the only thing you can't do not being the question owner is mark it as resolved, you should be able to rate posts for anyone.  Either way glad it's working for you now.

Yup, got it.  Had to lookup the Rate procedure under Help.  I was used to the old system where you would see a drop-down.  5-stars Sir!!  Thanks again.
